Coastal Source today announced that PowerSource®, its new UL-certified, Plug+Play 120V power distribution system engineered for direct-burial and above-ground outdoor installations, is now available and shipping nationwide.
Designed to remove one of the longstanding barriers to more ambitious outdoor system design, PowerSource delivers safe, reliable line-voltage power exactly where it is needed across a property. By simplifying how power is deployed outdoors, the system gives integrators greater freedom to position audio, lighting, Wi-Fi, security and other connected technologies based on the needs of the experience rather than the limitations of existing electrical infrastructure.
PowerSource is the industry’s first UL-certified Plug+Play 120V system approved for both direct-burial (NEMA 6) and above-ground use. Its pre-assembled, modular components connect together in minutes, helping reduce labor and installation time while giving integrators greater flexibility to design and expand outdoor systems.
By distributing power closer to the devices that need it, PowerSource can shorten cable runs, improve installation efficiency and help keep projects clean and discreet. Daisy-chain capability enables efficient distribution across multiple devices, while providing up to 1,800W per circuit to support amplifiers, transformers, controls and other power-intensive outdoor equipment.
What’s more, PowerSource is available with Lutron controls pre-installed, further simplifying the deployment of integrated outdoor lighting and control systems.
